TEAC introduced the new TN-200 budget turntable

TEAC has introduced its new budget belt-drive turntable, the TN-200. The unit is housed in an MDF cabinet used in many turntables for its resonance and vibration damping properties and comes in a flat black finish. On the top there is a start/stop knob and a 33-1/3 and 45rpm selector. A high inertia aluminum die-cast platter is belt-driven by a high torque DC motor and has a durable NeopreneÂ® rubber mat on top to further reduce vibrations. The straight balanced tonearm has an anti-skating mechanism, a manual arm lifter and comes with a pre-installed upgradeable, entry-level MM cartridge. The TN-200 also includes a built-in phono preamp, providing both phono and line outputs and a USB out using a TI-made A/D converter that allows you to transfer music to your computer and digitize your vinyl.
