New Rogue Audio RP-1 tube preamplifier

Rogue Audio announced the introduction of their new RP-1 entry-level tube preamplifier, with a design based on the company's successful RP-X platform, featuring two 12AU7 tubes in a mu follower configuration.

This elegantly simple yet technically sophisticated preamp provides a list of impressive features needed for a high end system. This includes a multi-function remote, a 45/60 dB MM/MC phono stage with adjustable loading, built-in 1 watt headphone amplifier, one phono and four line level inputs, two pairs of preamp outputs, one pair fixed outputs, home theater bypass and a front OLED display with the option to be turned on or off.

The RP-1 will be available in select retailers starting December 1, at a reasonable suggested retail price of $1,695.
